The Omaha Rollergirls placed 7th in the 2012 South Central Regional Tournament held in Lincoln, NE. Omaha played Texas, Nashville and Tallahassee twice and went 2-2 to move up from the 8th they came in to the tournament.

Omaha had a solid win against 9th ranked Tallahassee Friday morning and progressed through the bracket to play top seeded Texas Friday night. Omaha then went up against Tallahassee a second time to fight for 7th place. Omaha had a comfortable lead throughout the game and ended with a 132-118 win.

The tournament marked the end of the Omaha Rollergirls 2012 season. Their efforts now turn to their inaugural 2013 season and the new Ralston Arena at 72nd and Q Street. The Omaha Rollergirls will open their season on Feb. 9, 2013 and will consist of 6 home games.
