Do you have a passion for roller derby or are you looking to get involved in this exciting sport? Omaha Roller Derby invites you to the Nebraska Derby Referee and NSO Clinic, where you can learn the foundations of roller derby gameplay and rules.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some experience, this clinic is the perfect opportunity to take your knowledge of the game to the next level. Join us on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the Schenzel Community Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

What to Expect:
- Clinic Curriculum: The clinic will feature two tracks, one for skating referees and one for non-skating officials. You’ll receive comprehensive training to officiate roller derby games effectively.
- Scrimmage Opportunities: Following the morning classroom session, we’ll host both an adult and a junior scrimmage, giving all officials a chance to apply what they’ve learned.
- Learning Environment: During scrimmages, we’ll extend breaks between jams, allowing learning officials to ask questions and receive explanations for calls made (or not made) during gameplay.
What to Bring:
- A notebook or notepad
- Pen or pencil
- Gear and a Fox40 whistle for skating officials
